Also, when the Cubs won the NL East in 1984 and 1989, they had terrible springs both years, including a 13-game losing streak in 1984.
Last year’s World Champions were 12-18 in spring training.

The HD feed last year looked awfully nice
But it was more delayed than the Lo-def feed. Taking the comment system here as “live-action”, the HD feed was about 20 seconds behind vs. ~8 for the Lo-def feed

He hasn't really done anything yet...at least not enough for me to "love" him.
Win at least 10 games and keep the ERA under 4.2 the WHIP under 1.3 and we’ll revisit this conversation next year.

CHONE, Marcel and Bill James projections have him as a pretty average pitcher
this year. I for one really like him, and hope his production last year wasn’t a fluke.
