Around SBN: Super Bowl XLVI: Eli Manning And The Meaning Of 'Elite'

It's a lazy Saturday night for me, too cold to hit the Roscoe Village haunts. I give you the evolution of the Internet. Oh the FAQ's!

Wow

thats crazy, how in the world did you find that?

Okay, just so I understand it... in your wildest fantasy, you are in hell. And you are co-running a bed and breakfast with the devil.

If you have not seen...

The Internet Archive, you can do that for quite a few sites that go back that far.

Try it for BCB.

Ha! Take that Mr. Peabody.

I just sent your link to our station’s webteam Al. It’ll be interesting to see what their reaction is…

Go Green! Go White! GO STATE! (Now #12,966 on the Cubs season ticket waiting list- UP from 13,031...WHOO HOO!)

I tried to order tickets for May 6, 1998...

…but unfortunately the ticketmaster website isn’t in the archive.

Club Box and Field Box seats for that game were only $15. Bleachers, $6. Hard to believe how much ticket prices have gone up in 12 years.

Ha! Nice.

This is pretty good too, from the same site. It seems the Cubs weren’t the only ones who didn’t see the Marlins coming…
