I assume it was a joke

but of course the ticket windows are closed on Sundays unless the Cubs are in town at Wrigley.

FYI enjoy the snow and cold weather and am sorry I will miss the big storm headed to NYC as I am in Miami. I actually love snow but I like having it in the 70s and sitting by a pool better.

No, it wasn't a joke, and you happen to be wrong.

The ticket windows are open on Sundays UNTIL the season starts, and THEN they are only open on home Sundays.

Information confirmed here

Have fun in Miami.

Learn something new everyday

As I have not lived in Chicago for 20 years I just seems like the windows are always closed on Sundays.

FYI Miami is nice but I prefered it when we where here and the Cubs took 2 out 3 from the Marlins in 03. Such hope then.
Bundle up.

Don't let her fool ya

It’s going to be comfortably chilly Monday. May get into the 60s.

Yes I am suffering

The high will be 67 which means I will have to dry off with a towel instead of the sun when I leave the heated pool at my cousins.

76 degrees and rainy right now (it's almost 10:00 PM).

85 degrees and some more rain forecasted for tomorrow here in San Juan, P.R. Sorry, Al. I can’t imagine going through all that snow to get to work in the morning like you have to do. Maybe it’s time to get a vacation over here and enjoy the WBC next week. BTW, jokes aside, if I hear or read anything interesting and newsworthy related to the Cubs during the WBC round here in San Juan, I’ll post it here.

That'd be great, and if...

… you happen to be going to a game in which Soto and/or Marmol perform, take your camera and post pics (or send them to me and I’ll post them).

I still find it crazy...

…that “they” forgot the " ’ " in “LET’S PLAY TWO!” I laugh every time I see Ernie’s statue.

LOL

True. It still looks weird having it squeezed in between the two letters, but the alternative would have meant taking the entire base down and redoing it.

As much as I love Chicago....

every winter I ask myself why I put myself through this weather, especially after living in Florida for four years. But then the baseball season begins, and there’s my answer. I love the Cubs’ marketing campaign with the Wrigley marquee, which says, “Home Of The Reason You Put Up With The Winters”. How true that is. From May through October, there is no better city in the world. But these winters flat-out suck. Even though I’m from Illinois, and even though I love Chicago, I can honestly say that the Cubs are pretty much all that keeps me here year-round. Not my job, and not my family. The Cubs. Is that crazy?

Brrrrrr. Just, brrrrr.

Looks like it was worse in Chicago than here in Michigan. Seeing these photos makes me even more excited about getting on a plane Friday and going to Mesa for the three-game weekend series with LA, Mil & Tex.

Can’t come soon enough…

-13 IN NORTHERN MICHIGAN.....

At 6 a.m. this morning…..It has warmed up to a balmy 9 above…..Gotta be alot warmer in Mesa today,,,,,,,,( oh yes we have wind also today ) …

Minus 13....then I won't complain about 45 degrees in Florida this morning

Florida weather is OK if you can tolerate the humidity and tropical storms.

Mesa weather is perfect in the spring. Several years ago, I went to Mesa for 5 days of spring training and headed to Sedona and the Grand Canyon for 3 days of natural wonder. From basking in the warmth of sunshine to frolicking in snow in one afternoon. Arizona is great this time of year.

Cubs + Grand Canyon + Sedona = Heaven
