I’m going to a party to watch the last episode. I am a serious scifi geek specifically a BG (both original and new) and Star Wars.

I just found out how they’re going to end ER. Wish I could unlearn it because it will be really well done and would have enjoyed te surprise.

Who wants to declare a point to a den of fools (not everyone here is, but some are)? I tried quitting this place before… but Al has better stuff to say than Muskrat over at MLB.com. So, like any drug, I come back…if i’m banned, the temptation won’t be there. Any Einstein knows that on things like boards or the internet, whoever has the last say so is the winner of an argument… i’ll be gone, and you guys can call and say whatever about me. Nearly 800 comments means this won’t get read and this may have already been covered, but two thoughts.

1. Baseball is an individual sport. We like to pretend it’s not, but there is rarely a case (situational hitting aside) when an individual’s desire to rack up stats doesn’t help his team.

2. If a guy is hurt don’t we want him to sit on the sidelines if he can’t meaningfully contribute to his team?

Let’s give him a chance. We’ve got him for at least two years anyhow so it does us no good to run him out of town before he even gets here.
