Shameless plug for Al's book. My copy arrived today (about two weeks ahead of schedule) via Amazon.com. Can't wait to dive into this. It's 340+ pages and loaded with content. Check it out!

I was surprised and pleased to receive mine last week

A wealth of numerical tidbits.

Kasey and others did a spectacular job putting this to paper. Kudos to all of you!

Thanks to both of you!

Another shameless plug: You can order it for immediate (well, as fast as USPS will get it to you) delivery by the link on the right sidebar.

Also now available in Chicago-area Barnes & Noble and Borders.

So I'm assuming

we can go into any B & N and get one transferred to our local store

If the world didn't suck we would all fall off.

I don't know how B&N works that...

… but if you have done that before at a B&N, I assume you can do it with this book. Go ask, or just order one off the link on the sidebar.

Cubs By The Numbers

Cubs By The Numbers is a history of the ballclub by uniform number, but the biographies help trace the history of our beloved team in a new way. For everyone who's a Cubs fan, anyone who ever wore the uniform is like family. Cubs By The Numbers reintroduces readers to some of their long-lost ancestors, even ones they think they already know.
