ST Holders offered Cubs-Yankees tickets for New Yankee Stadium.
Here is an email I just got from the Cubs. It's a nice "bone". I'm definitely in for 6. Wondering if other ST holders have success and how many tickets they get.
Dear Season Ticket Holder,
The Chicago Cubs are pleased to inform you that we have just received confirmation from the New York Yankees regarding purchasing opportunities for the first ever games at the New Yankee Stadium featuring the Chicago Cubs vs. the New York Yankees on Friday, April 3 at 7:05 EST and Saturday, April 4 at 1:05 EST.
The Yankees have set aside a limited number of tickets for both games. The tickets will range in price from $20-$45. Due to the close proximity of this offer with the actual game dates, we will need to obtain your response, if interested, by 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16th.
Orders will be filled starting with the available $45 tickets. All tickets will be sold on a first come - first served basis. There will be a purchase limit of 6 tickets total per season ticket account. A $5 postage and handling charge will be added to all completed orders. If your order is filled successfully, the tickets will be mailed to you at the address you submit.
If you'd like to take part in this special offer, please reply back to this email (there will be no phone sales) no later than 5:00 P.M. on 3/16 with the following information:
1) Acct #
2) Name:

5) Credit Card #_____________________ exp. date______
6) Choice of Game:

Unfortunately we will not be able to quote specific locations or prices prior to your order being addressed. We will process all orders with the best available seats that we have at our disposal. It is our hope that we will be able to accommodate all season ticket holders that would like to take part in this offer. However, due to the limited availability of tickets, your reply does not guarantee that your order will be filled as we will be filling orders on a first come-first served basis. We will contact you within a few business days of the response deadline with an email letting you know whether your order was able to be filled.

That's weird, it got centered.
I don’t think you can do a blockquote in a FanShot.
I’d love to go, but being in Arizona, I won’t be able to.

Yes, I'm begging....
Will you be starting a ticket exchange for this?

I could, if there's enough interest.

Since there are no guarantees that orders will be filled, that may be difficult
However, if a season ticket holder were to place a order for 4 tickets for me, I would guarantee payment via PayPal or cash.

Any season ticket holder willing to buy me a pair?
My daughter would be grateful and ecstatic to go. She already has a place to stay.

My daughter would need 4 total
I forgot she would need a pair for the people with whom she’s staying.

I will purchase 3 tickets for April 3rd
if any ST holder is willing. Please. I wonder what the ticket delivery time schedule is?

Left out the cheap seats
Looks like the upper deck grandstand and bleacher seats (all expected to be under $2 each) will be available only from the Yankees ticket office whenever they get around to selling those. I’d rather get the $20 seats in order to get a better view of the new park, but I’ll take whatever I can scavenge.

I'm guessing that...
… once the Cubs submit their list to the Yankees after Monday, the Yankees will announce a date for selling them. Has to be pretty soon, as those games are only three weeks away.
