No current plan for more night games
I read this story and I am always flabbergasted why the people of the surrounding community don't want to see the Cubs Organization and the Cubs Brand grow.

Limit of 36 with Some Friday Nights
I’d like to see the limit raised on night games to 36 and the ban lifted on regular season Friday night games. Having some Friday night home games after the Cubs come back from road trips would help the team out. 36 home night games should be enough to keep the Cubs from wilting in the heat from having too many day games. The neighborhood doesn’t want the limit raised or for the Cubs to have Friday night home games.

This year...
… the number of times the Cubs have a Thursday night road game before a Friday home game is zero.
That said, I think you’re right, they should be allowed a handful of Friday nights to avoid this sort of problem.
