BCB FANTASY BASEBALL REMINDER!!!

Couple things. First, we are in need of one more owner for the league drafting tomorrow at Noon ET, 11 a.m. Central. Please email me at chrisgreising(at)gmail(dot)com if you want in. Again, its only one spot so first person to email me gets it

Second just wanted to remind everyone that this weekend is the big BCB Fantasy Draft weekend. Here's the leagues and times:

BCB Fantasy Baseball III - Sunday, March 29, 10 p.m. ET

BCB Fantasy Baseball IV - Monday, March 30, 10 p.m. ET

Make sure you pre-rank your players

its helps a lot plus you don’t end up with players you don’t want. If you can’t make it that is. Or, just bring your laptop along, He won’t mind.

Ok, I am now looking at the site and I give ESPN a massive FAIL

Nothing that I need is easily accessible – instead I’m inundated with a bunch of crap. I don’t know why I’m surprised…

I dunno - maybe I'm the massive FAIL here, but I still can't find anything I need

From the rules section:

The Pre-Rank Players page can be accessed from either your main team page or from the top-left of the League Office page.

I’ve clicked on just about every link on my team page and the league page and haven’t seen anything that allows me to change the rankings. Plenty of list, sorted by position, stats, etc. but nothing that lets me change the order.

In fact, I see nothing that makes me think I’m actually part of this league so maybe that’s the problem. I’m logged into myESPN – is there a separate fantasy baseball login I have to do? If there is, I can’t find a link anywhere that tells me that’s what I need to do.

Clearly I am out of my element here – 20 years in the consulting industry and I’m being whupped by espn.com. Not to worry Al – I think you’re out of the cellar this year… ;-)

Are you on "My Team"?

Yes, it should just be the myESPN log in. After that, to the right of your team name, Road Warriors, should be link titled “Edit Pre-Draft Player Ratings”. Hopefully that helps

nope. I don't see anything like that.

I’ve checked all the e-mails I’ve gotten from espn, including the original one with the join a league link, so I tried that again. But when I click on that, it thinks I’m somebody new and it’s trying to add me as a co-owner with – you guessed it – me. So when I accept the invitation, I get a screen saying “We’re Sorry – Invite does not exist in LeagueMember”.

I think I’m all screwed up because I changed my espn screen name for the BCB NCAA tourney. The account is the same, i.e. same email address, but maybe they’re not going off of email address.

When you get a chance, can you check the league settings and see how I’m entered in there, i.e. what unique identifier are they using? No reason to continue this saga on BCB so if you find anything, please send me an e-mail – vangeloff (at) hotmail (dot) com. thanks.
