Anyone going to Cubs @ Tigers series?
I just got 5 outfield box tickets for the June 25th game. Got through the VWR immediately, but anything after that was pure rigmarole.

CUBS V TIGERS.....
Yes we are going not sure what games yet ,,,,,I would think 24 th and 25 th ….Tigers have listed series with Cubs and Boston Premium dates ….Parking downtown can be hit and miss during the week. We park at Nemo’s Sports Bar by Old tiger stadium and catch their shuttle to and from Comerica Park . ( Nemo’s also has great bugers ) …Alot of the younger fans hang out pregame at Hockey Town and the Detroit Beer Company near the park also has good food . Anything Else ???
Going to all three
with tickets for three different areas of the ballpark— LF UD box, RF UD box, RF bleachers.
Maybe the Tigers will have a 1984 night in which the Cubs, and their bench coach, could enjoy participating.
If the weather cooperates, one thing I’m looking forward to is a bbq picnic on Belle Isle before one of the night games. Eastern Market is my favorite grocery market in the Midwest, and Belle Isle is my favorite city park.
If you’re gonna be in town for more than a night, I prefer Motor City Brewing, near Wayne St, to Detroit Brewing Co.
Come visit me inside Wrigley along the Addison side mezzanine fence straight up from 1st base.

Split a six game season packet of tix with my sister. I took the 3 Cubs games. She picked 3 other random games over the summer. All tickets along the 1st base side.
Go Green! Go White! GO STATE! (Now #12,966 on the Cubs season ticket waiting list- UP from 13,031...WHOO HOO!)

i might fire up the mini-van and convince some of my tigers fans from here in northern michigan to come on down with me

As of 3-10-09 4 pm yes there were still tickets availb….Infield box were sold out . Alot of terrace box or so I was told…..
HEY CUB FANS.......
Need a hotel room in the motor City ??? Book it soon as alot of the Big chains that had good prices are already booked ……The Downtown only has so many decent hotels . The last I checked tickets were still available for all 3 dates.
