Cubs-Brewers tickets in Milwaukee
Just curious to see how many of y'all were able to get tickets to the Cubs' games this season at Miller Park. It seems like the various pre-sale lotteries the Brewers had helped those games get sold out quickly (at least the ones in April and May). I wonder how many Cubs fans were able to get through.
Myself, I got tickets for five games, so I can't complain. But had a buddy not tipped me off to the pre-sales, I very well could have been shut out.

Im going...
I entered those contests but didnt win the chance for Milwaukee’s opening day. Since I’d already had tickets for 10-11 games from April to August I decided to go with the last game the Cubs play in Milwaukee. I guess I hope I get to see the Cubs clinch in Milwaukee then.
One thing you learned as a Cubs fan: when you bought you ticket, you could bank on seeing the bottom of the ninth.

That'd be one early clincher.
The Cubs have ten regular season games remaining after their last game in Milwaukee this year.

I dont have much faith in the Brewers...
…I think losing CC and Sheets will hurt them more than people think, and I see the Cubs clinching very early, but I agree that clinching that early would be just short of a miracle.

I was able to get tickets on Mother's Day
through the pre-sale. That was the only afternoon game (besides the Brewers home opener) the Cubs will play in Milwaukee this year.
I’ll be taking the train to and from Milwaukee so night games are not an option as the last train leaves Milwaukee at 7:30 PM.
Hey, it's a new century!

I have four for Opening Day and Saturday's game
I also have four for the Saturday May 9th game.

Wait until a day or two before the game.
They often release some last minute tickets. You might have a chance to get better seats that way.

Good idea
A friend of mine did that for a game there a few years ago. He and his brother-in-law got seats about eight rows from the field. Meanwhile, my tickets, which I bought the morning they went on sale, were in the upper deck.

I think there will be plenty of Cubs fans in Milwaukee...
… just as there always have been.

Promo
Live and work in Wisconsin and have purchased tickets for “business purposes” before so I always buy multiple game packages and somehow wind up with the Cubs games. This year, the Brewers offered seven-game packages and if you bought them by a certain date, they threw in their home opener against the Cubs. Obviously, with the Cubs in town, they didn’t want their home opener loaded with Cubs fans so they tried limiting the available single-game tickets for the home opener by giving the seven-game packages and adding the opener ahead of time.
The seven-game package I purchased included another two other Cubs games including their second home game and another later on so three of the 8 games in the package will be attended by Cubs fans. The rest of the office gets the rest.
Who needs a stinkin' tag line? What are they for anyway?

I scored 4 tickets to the Cubs/Brewers
game on May 10th and I’m bringing 3 other Cubs fans with me to Wrigley North.
It’s a Sunday game so I’m sure I’ll be bringing the broom with too!!!
GO CUBS GO!!!
