Just in case anybody wanted to watch this and didn't see that it was on tomorrow. Let's see where the new network predicts our Cubbies to finish in 09!

I was just about to post this reminder
glad I searched first before posting

I just seen that
any idea if they are going to get out to Arizona and broadcast some ST games? Everything has been Florida so far.
The following Cubs ST games will be on the MLB Network
Fri 3/20 vs SD (also on WGN)
Sat 3/21 vs. Sox
Thu 3/26 vs. SF
Fri 3/27 vs. Sox (also on WGN)
Tue 3/31 vs. LAA
Fri 4/3 vs. NYY
There are others involving other teams — they have promised 60 ST games altogether.

thanks
I have been trying to look at the advanced broadcasting schedule but last time I checked they were still TBA. The package I got with DirecTV does not include WGN so I haven’t seen any Cubs baseball yet this year.
I got all those listings from the schedule at cubs.com
You could check other teams schedules to see what other games are on.

Thanks for the
heads-up. Emailing the TiVo now…

Credibility
I really like the MLB network, especially when compared to ESPN. however, when Jose Ceda is listed as one of our top three prospects, they lose some credibility in my eyes. I would expect someone like Steve Phillips to make a screwup like that, but not John Hart.

That and when Harold Reynolds...
said the one Cub that would be missed the most out of all who departed the team this offseason would be Cedeno.
I'm gonna cut Harold a little bit of slack on that one.
It was obviously a ridiculous comment, but he was on the right track in that the Cubs have sacrificed infield depth with the moves they’ve made.

I kinda agree
since we are now hoping that Font or MIles can back up 3B, unless our hoping Koskie might be able to make a return come true.

Yeah, I caught that, too.
Big fail in what, otherwise, I thought was a pretty solid overview.

On a scale from 1-10...
…how mad was Al when they said Woo Woo in the last seconds of the 30/30 tonight?

Fortunately, I missed that part of the show.
I think it would have ruined my TV.

The show will be repeated...
… today at 3:30 pm CDT if you missed it yesterday.

I was able to watch it last night and...
…as noted above, I found the show pretty satisfying overall. They touched on a many key points – particularly the strength of the starting rotation – and kept the 100 years/curse references to a bare minimum. I thought Lou and the players all gave decent, if unsurprising, interviews with RJ’s being the most amusing and Milton Bradley’s being the most interesting (he does have a certain twitchy energy about him, no?).
Complaints? As cubfred points out below, Jose Ceda was somehow listed as a Cubs prospect. (Can I get a job as a proofreader, MLBn?) And I found it a little funny that the mainstream media continues to see Aaron Miles as DeRo’s replacement – almost as if the two were traded – while giving Fontenot only a cursory nod. I’m pretty bullish on LBR right now and would like him to win the second base job outright. Miles will still get plenty of playing time backing up the fully Cajuneinated middle infield. (I still really hope Koskie can win the 3B/1B/PH bench role, though.)
In conclusion, if you haven’t seen the show and have any opportunity to do so, go for it. Nothing about it will likely surprise you, but you’ll likely enjoy watching/listening to the hosts fall over themselves praising our boys.
