Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

THOUGHTS

Sorry for my ramblings, just have thoughts in my head that I need to release.  I tried talking to my wife about Koyie Hill...she thought I was talking about some resort in Hawaii......Is it just me, or to you grindge everytime a so-called expert states the Cubs will win the Central easily......The way I see it Neal Cotts should make 155 appearances this year.....anyone think the loss of Sabathia and Sheets will be offset by the hire of Macha.......in my 30 some years of following the Cubs, hands down Uncle Lou is the best manager they have had...very goofy in the interview room, but solid in the dugout...just wish we had him for 10 more years.....is it true a injury to Aramis would give ue Miles, Theriot and Fotenot at 3b-ss-2b.....maybe Harry Chapis could come out of retirement to back-up D. Lee...speaking of Miles...I sure am going to miss him coming up to bat in a big situation for the Cardinals.....why do I think I know too much about Michael Brenly.....speaking of the Brenlys..question of the week...is Bob's hat on backward in the Take Me Out To The Ballgame video to look Rock Star cool...or is that the only way he knows to wear it...rumor has it in his famous error filled game at 3b...the bill of the cap kept getting in his eyes......

WOW

I have actually thought some of the same

The Brewers will miss CC/Sheets but you’re right, Macha may get more out of their potent offense and offset the lack of pitching.
I cringe a little when the cubs are hands down favorites and losing one run games is the reason why. That is a trend I want to see continue. We already had a target on our back after running through the NL last season.
I also agree Lou’s heavy hand has made a big difference. Winning is fun.

This is only the beginning....Lou Pinella end of '07 season and Chicago Transit Authority (the band when they were really good).

You need a better title for your post.

Also, if you could focus it on one thing rather than a bunch of different topics, it would make a better post and get you better responses.

Clearly this was a thinly disguised parody of the fanpost titled Soriano Saves the Day

It’s basically the same post – maybe slightly more readable, but that’s to be expected in a parody.

Indeed and rec'd.

I’m surprised more didn’t see that.

Actually, I was wrong

I checked, and it turns out the OP posted several similar fanposts last year with the title “A Few Thoughts”, “Thoughts”, and “A Few Comments”. This is his style, and the author of “Soriano Saves the Day” is following in his footsteps.

You should have called this the Andy Rooney Post.

And why are ballplayers always grabbing their crotch?

And the spitting of the sunflower seeds in the dugout…what’s that all about?

I can honestly say

I’ve never once grindged when an expert shows love to the Cubs. In fact, I’ve never grindged at all. Though I’ve heard that Michael Brenly did once.
