Around SBN: Explaining Jeremy Lin's Early, Surprising Success

OT: California Cubs Fans

I recently relocated to Orange County and just wanted to see if there were any other displaced Cubs fans in the area that would like to meet up and grab a beer and watch the games. Sorry that I wasted a fanpost on this but I didn't know of any other way to do it.

I moved out here in August

I go to school in Northridge and live in the Santa Clarita area.

I go to Glendale often with my g/f to the mall there. The Americana I believe?

Got my master's degree at CSUN

I hate the Americana. Evil evil evil place. Smells like HWSNBN, and is clogged with those that are nearly as obnoxious as HWSNBN.

Haha

I guess I don’t think it’s that bad and I love Jewel City Diner.

I’m getting my master’s there too in Human Factors Psychology

I love that place!!!!!

Have you ever had their blueberry beer? Sounds weird, I know, but it has actual blueberries in it. I always order a pitcher of it when I go there.

I'd be down to grab a pitcher...

…for a Cubs game if I have the day off.

FYI: There is a sports bar in Laguna Niguel at the intersection of Crown Valley and Niguel Rd — diagonally across from the Taco Bell. For the life of me, I can’t remember its name.

I'll hit ya up soon...

Maybe you can slide up to Ladera Ranch for a game soon. I’ll have to drink water, as I’m unemployed at the moment, but the Cubs will be on, that will be enough I guess…

I know!

I took OCTA to Newport Beach last week, and had to walk from Crown Point/Dr. Guevara all the way to Crown Valley/Siena. I was hurting.

Lol...

…I live right there @ Crown Valley and Dr. Guevara. Just up the street — Chilis is a great place to drink and eat because it’s a 3 minute walk home, they have 5 plasmas, the bar tenders poor generously, and food is pretty cheap.

Ok, the three of us should get together this weekend... (and anyone else who wants to).

Either at Chili’s or the Ranch up here for the Sat. Fox game or the Sun. ESPN Sunday nighter vs. the hated Red Birds. Let me know what you think. raheemmuhammed@aol.com.

Saturday's game is NOT on FOX.

FOX is airing the Dodgers game. I’ll meet up @ Chilis on Sunday night — I actually always go there Sundays and watch Sunday night baseball. I’ll be there around 5:30

Sounds like a plan...

Apparently I’m being treated to the Long Beach Grand Prix on Sat., so I probably couldn’t have made Sat.‘s game anyway… I hope to be back early enough Sunday to make it. I’ll post here with further updates…. Hopefully it will work out. Looking forward to meeting you guys.

Sent ya both an e-mail. Sorry for the short notice. If you get the e-mail, or if ya see this post here, let me know if you’re going… Thanks.
