marmol and gregg are rested.
Yeah, but you have to get through our middle relief swamp to get there.
They’ve all stunk up the joint lately. Cotts, Patton, Guzman, Vizcaino … take your pick.

I wonder what Al thinks when Hoff goes 2 for 2 against major league pitching?
Oh, I forgot. This isn’t major league pitching. :-)

That's too hard
If you had to choose just one characteristic that would get you through life, choose a sense of humor.
This really all comes down to a team like the Cubs who have some hitters who choke...
when faced with runners on situations……gives the other team added momentum when they get out of situations like that…..add to that Mr. Emotional on the mound today who cannot handle adversity STILL and we have the makings for this debacle….so far….maybe they will crawl out of this yet today….
It's frustrating watching good players perform poorly

I think that the pre-season projections of walking away with this division were clearly VERY premature. The Cards are chronic overachievers, and with the Marlins looking like this year’s version of the Rays getting a wildcard slot with them in the mix along with Mets, Phillies, Braves it could be a very tough chase, especially if Cards continue to hand it to us over the next week

we don’t have a say in who is hired to play.
we don’t have a say in who is hired to manage.
we don’t have a say in how much the tickets cost.
It’s got NOTHING to do with the fans.

Starting to readjust my expectations for this year.......unless we comeback and salvage some of this series.....

I think Fontenot could use a day off tomorrow
Not giving up on him, but maybe he could use a mental health day.
