Could just be me

It seems like the Wrigley faithful have been all over the booing this year. If any Cub does anything wrong, BOOM it rains boobirds. We even gave Todd Hundley some time before we booed the hell out of him. We gave LaTroy the benefit of the doubt. I know people paid the money and within reason should be able to yell and do whatever they want, but give them a little more time. We’re not in a pennant race yet.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.

and some "fans" wanted to call the game in the 5th, and the season based on a couple of losses.

See, THAT’s where I have the problems. This team came back with nine runs in the bottom of the 9th last year to beat the Rockies. You cannot EVER count this team out.

He seems to think he pitched well.

The 7 IP and 7 Ks were great, Carlos. The 7 ER….eh, not so much.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Yeah.....he was pretty happy about going 7 innings......

but he also admitted that he gets paid to win games…..

I'd rather have him take something positive out of this

than the other way around.

Because when it comes to sports, we die harder than Bruce Willis.

That's true.

I mean, he did save Lou from having to use his middle relievers. And the 7 Ks were good. It’s better for Z to be throwing strikes than not throwing them. He just needs to get the long balls under the control. As I’ve been harping on, though, the Cards’ bats have been red hot.
