New Blog: Sounder At Heart for Seattle Sounders Fans!

If you can't watch the Cubs and Yankees open the new Yankee Stadium on TV, MLB.com is giving fans an opportunity to stream both games for free. The Mets-Red Sox games from Citi Field will also be available.

Sweet.

If they know what’s good for ‘em (which is questionable), they’ll have the full version of Gameday running, too.

I have a feeling they will

they’ve got to get all the pitch f/x kinks worked out prior to opening day.

Plus, on the video side, they’ll be running the beta version of MLB.TV Premium.

The new MLB.TV Premium player is really cool.

I have a feeling they’re going to have serious technical issues on opening day though. They’ve only beta tested a few spring training games and WBC games. I’m not sure they’re gong to be prepared for the volume of people watching games on opening day.

Hey, it's a new century!

THANK YOU .. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS!

I’m probably going to order it anyway, but I was right on the BRINK of ordering MLB.TV when I stopped in and noticed this! Woo HOO.

Since I sub to the Dish Network, I won’t be getting any of the MLBN, unfortunately, but anytime I can keep Bud Selig’s long greasy fingers out of my budget, the better.

I was going to subscribe ONLY to see the Cubs thrash the Yankees. Now that I can burn the video direct to my Panasonic DVD burner, suhhh weet!

Well, Next Year is here .. and Jack's century's gotta end some time .. GO CUBBIES!

Does Soriano's defense at 2B really cost more runs than in LF? He makes a lot fewer errors in LF since misplays and mental mistakes aren't figured into the stats, but I have to imagine that his mistakes are more physical at 2B. Any thoughts? Is there a statistic on this?
