He's on his final hole. He's about 455 yards away, he's gonna hit about a 2 iron I think.

Cinderella story. Outta nowhere. A former greenskeeper, now, about to become the Masters champion. It looks like a mirac... It's in the hole upside her cranium! It's in the hole upside her cranium! It's in the hole upside her cranium!

Funny story...

since she escaped injury.

On a side note, I am always terrified I’ll hit somebody with a ball. I’m a horrible golfer, but I still find myself unsure even if the group is 400 yards ahead. "What if I hit a perfect shot, and it sails 50 or so yards beyond what Tiger can hit; God forbid, what if I also hit a drive straight for the first time in my limited golfing career? Combine the two, and I just might nail another golfer.

The only golf I've played lately is of the Wii variety.

I did nail a friend of mine in the ankle with a golf ball in high school, though. Worst part about it is I was putting at the time.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Life imitating art …

Funny. Although, I just hate when celebs are given the moniker #1 fan.

He's No. 1 in my book.

Maybe you’re more of a Joe Mantegna guy.

Bill is a great actor/comedian, but

… are you really saying you think he is the embodiment of the best Cub fan – period. First, trying to create a rating or an index of how good a fan is, just seems silly. I have no problems with Murray, Cussak, Will, Bulushi, or anyone buying a seat and rooting along with the rest of us, I just don’t feel because they are celebs they should be described as extra special Cub fans.

To push it a little farther, I occasionally here Santo labeled as the Cubs #1 fan. Now, I love Santo, and would argue forever that he belongs in HOF, and between his playing and broadcasting career he has obviously devoted his life to the team. But even Ron, imho, should be not be singled out for his fandom above everyone else.

I think you're reading too much into this.

I’m using the term “No. 1” humorously more than anything else. Having said that, when it comes to celeb Cubs fans, Murray is indeed No. 1 in my book – for a variety of reasons. But that book is purely subjective and I don’t deny anyone else the right the write his or her own.

ok, I'll give you

… the more qualified “#1 humorous celeb fan”. Only pointing out that the “#1 fan” label for anyone, annoys me.

And you’re right, I’m bored, waiting for 7:05.

Yeah, that's really more how I meant it.

And as far as the No. 1 Cubs fan of all time – why that’s me, of course!

Sorry, Dave, I have a letter opener that says I am the #1 fan

Of course, so does my dad, I think — so it must be a tie . . .

…I am the No. 1 Dad. Got the coffee mug right here.
