Around SBN: The 2009-2010 Card Chronicle Big East basketball preview

I did a quick search and this hasn't been posted yet. Nothing earth-shattering, as usual when it comes from Sullivan's pen.

are they kidding?

from the comments: Bring Samardzija up, put Marshall in the pen, trade Zambrano and Gregg for Peavy and give the closer role to Marmol.

And… wait, what???

Welcome to the wonderful world of mainstream media comment sections.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Yep

Only read comments if you want your brain to melt.

Because when it comes to sports, we die harder than Bruce Willis.

Wait, wait - the first one is pretty funny, though.
“He’s a well built guy and has an extremely muscular lower half,” Hendry said.

Wow, just how far did Hendry and Bradley’s November dinner date go?

Well, and look who posted that.

I didn’t know Twain was a Cubs fan. Or alive, for that matter.

Thanks!

I read that and said “I know that name.” My brain is really turning to mush….

One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

Don't ask him about sabremetrics, though.

We all know how he feels about statistics.

Does Soriano's defense at 2B really cost more runs than in LF? He makes a lot fewer errors in LF since misplays and mental mistakes aren't figured into the stats, but I have to imagine that his mistakes are more physical at 2B. Any thoughts? Is there a statistic on this?
