That'll be a fun, lazy, baseball-filled day.
I assume there’s almost zero chance of WGN America getting the noon game but at least it’s with the Cardinals so I’ll get the FSN feed.

No lose for the Cubs
Im sure they will charge the platinum prices for the makeup game even though it was a gold game. They did this last year with a value game that got moved to the summer, charged the summer prices for a makeup of a cheap game. A few years ago they didnt do this and I scored value priced bleachers in mid July! No more though.
Yeah I bet a lot of people...
…are going to be looking to turn a profit on the game now.
"Pounding sand since 1982...."
Imagine if you'd been able to pick up tickets...
… from a scalper just before it got canceled. They had to be freaking and selling low, right? And now the things are probably worth double what they would have been.

I was walking back home after the game was postponed
And people were still selling for next to nothing.
I wish I could go to that game...
Anyone got a pair of tix for that game? Either the day or the night ones. or Both? Don’t be a scalper, I just lost my job.

You can post your request in the general ticket exchange post...

Feel bad for security
There are going to be a lot of drunks coming back into that ballpark after 3-4 hours in the neighborhood following the first game.

You have the right to remain silent
you have the right to throw a strike. If you can’t then one will be thrown for you.

How will the bleachers work?
They clear the stadium in between… so, will the line for the 2nd game start as soon as everyone is in for the first? And if you have tickets to both games, with the second game being in the bleachers, can you just count on not having great seats?
Fortunately, i’ve got a group of four going to the first game and a group of 10 or 12 going to the second, so hopefully the remaining 6 or 8 should be able to hold a couple of seats for us long enough for us to get back in…

Basically....
… yes. People will get in line as soon as the 1st game is over, IF they have tickets to both games. I suspect a lot of people won’t.

We either worked shifts taking a place in line
or just said screw it, hang out at Murphy’s or close by and take what seats we could when after the long wait line dwindled.

Perfect day!
Go to the first game, come home just in time to watch another game on Sunday night baseball. That will get my baseball fix in to hold me for a few days with the All Star game that Tuesday
You guys think they will get the game in tonight? I think the precipitation is suppose to slow down after 3 according to weather.com
Chicago Cubs baseball is on the air...
Well... I dunno.
Looking at the weather.com radar image, there is still a ton of light rain coming southeast through Wisconsin. If they play, they’ll play in conditions like Opening Day.
Yuck.

I'm pretty happy about the possibility of going to both games
I’m making a trip to Chicago that previous week and weekend and had already bought tickets to the July 12th game.

I'm a kill someone if the game tonight is postponed.
