from what we’ve seen Id say that they can hang around for a few months. However, with Dusty as a manager I worry for their young pitchers.

It's not like

Cueto or Harang are batting-practice pitchers. They get paid a lot of money to be very good as well.

The Cubs certainly aren’t firing on all cylinders, but Lilly pitched pretty well yesterday, and Z did ok today. We just got beat. Sometimes you get beat. Sometimes, the other pitcher is on, when you’re not. I don’t think we’ve played like sh!t, although too many errors today.

Shall I compare thee to a Summer’s game?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling hits of Rami,
And Summer’s lease hath all too short a swing:
Sometime too hot the eye of Hoffpauir shines,
And oft’ is his gold glove lost;
And every fair from fair sometime regresses,
By chance or nature’s changing pitchers untrimm’d:
But thy eternal Wrigley shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that ticket thou owest;
Nor shall Dusty brag thou wanderest in his pen,
When in eternal lines to time thou walks:

So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to THE CUBS!
