Seems like

we have forgotten how to do it a bit. It really seemed like all three of those outs were on pitcher’s pitches rather than hitter’s pitches.

We are really

struggling right now. It will pass.

No doubt

hopefully the trip to St. Louis will get these guys loose…

Plus

Dempster is pitching tomorrow. If there is one guys who we can count on to get us out of a bad stretch I think its him. He seems to have the right character makeup to be the guy to never get down, never give up, never surrender…oh and to give Lou a wedgie…

Oh No!

Game over.

Sorry, Sue.

Lou's face looks like he just saw Cotts throw another ball.

Makes sense

plus there really isnt much drop off b/n reed and hoff as far as a bat goes (IMO). Although there is the handedness factor..

Did Lou just now realize that Hoff can't play RF?

he’s willing to give up theoffeense for better defense.

Plus

with Reed, Theriot and Wonder Hamster, we have the all scrappy team..even better with Demp pitching.

Oriole by nurture. Cub by marriage.

by wax eagle on Apr 23, 2009 4:20 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

I really think Reed

brings energy to this team when he plays. I’m a huge Reed fan.

by sue369 on Apr 23, 2009 4:23 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Me too

Love his blog, love his style of play. I say scrappy not in a sarcastic way at all..i think the kind of heart these guys show is what really wins championships…that and timely hitting…
