Huh ?

Pitching has been pretty decent especially the starting pitching. Hitting died a few games ago. This is not the worst thing.

by Not Bruce Froemming on Apr 25, 2009 5:34 PM CDT up reply actions

Nope

Both are doing very well this season Wuertz was so so but so so looks good now, Eyre was excellent then he slumped and ended up in the dog house while Howry continued to give up gopher balls. Lou is dreadful at managing pitchers, some times he lucks out
and it sort of takes care of itself but this year it is blowing up. We released a guy who was given no chance and still never gave up a run and got to eat 4 million. The only lefty we have can’t throw a strike over the plate.

I am not ledge jumping I am simply asking a question. (OK NBF?)

If the Cubs are .500 or less at the break, would the Cubs take the ax to Lou? Would it matter where we were in the pennant race, or with 140 million spent, would it matter?

As seeing as the Cubs are going to lose today.

So far this year 8-8. Last year 11-5. After 16 games of course.

What? Granted, I’d rather be 11-5, but …

How many of those games were against the Pirates?
