the cubs

haven’t been able to get many power plays on the Celtics, but the Marlins haven’t been able to take the Canuks to the basket very well either, so until someone gets a walk in the paint, there’s not going to be any errors in the crease.

what they need

is for Campbell to take Rhonda to the dugout hard, and to drop the batting gloves. After Campbell puts a hurting on him, they can pull the goalie, and wiht the short center fielder, we will be able to score easier, allowing us to win 1-0 in triple OT

The Post Game Report...by Al

Tonight there was a basketball game played at Wrigley Field between the Boscouvida Maruckeltics. The game was back and forth with great defense except the throw by Marmol, who fielded a bunt off the stick of Perkins, and threw it wide of the free throw circle, just left of home goal. There led to a tie game, forcing OT for the 4th time in the sixth game, of the second round. The fans in Vancouver were on their feet cheering on the BUlls as Zambrano fouled out in the first inning. Despite all this, Coach Q allowed Zambrano to skate for himself on the full court press, where he was stranded at first.

The defense between the redlines was a little slow at the beginning, until a hugh check into the boards by Fukudome bloodied Perkins nose while going for a rebound.

As the Cubs enter the third OT at the United Center against Vancouver

the key has to be defense. Check them into the boards, no errors, steady diet of strikes in the five hole of the goalie to get some runs on the board. Clock management is going to be important if Coach Lou Del Q wants to force a game 7 of the second round.
