And the Twins are building an open air stadium why?

Good thing the Cubs

Are in Houston. It’s hard enough for me to watch one game tonight thinking that it could be the Cubs. When every other team is playing tommarow, that would be death. Hopefully we get some spring-like weather for the home opener.

Because people in Minneapolis

Apparently don’t remember that it’s freezing in April and October (if they make it that far), and unpleasantly hot and humid in August.
The dome is a dump, but a stadium without a retractable roof there doesn’t seem like a good idea.

We appreciate your concern

but we’ll be fine. In April and October its hit or miss, not much different than open stadiums in Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Boston or New York.

Yes. Yes it is.

I posted about this here.

Thanks.

Was about to post about this. The Twins are opening at home tomorrow vs. the Mariners.

Here’s tomorrow’s Minneapolis weather forecast:

Monday: A 20 percent chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 38. Breezy, with a north northwest wind between 15 and 21 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.

Great weather for baseball, right?

Good call by them

All they need is an injury to JD or Paulie due to bad field conditions and they’d right behind the 8-ball with 161 games to go.
