No fine, no suspension for Dempster, who was ruled to have hit Milwaukee's Ryan Braun on the brim of the helmet on Saturday.

Good news for once

Now maybe Ryan Dempster can start pitching in accordance with his $52 million windfall. I hated the contract when it was doled out and nothing so far in 2009 has changed my mind. $52 million is a lot for a pitcher who I believe will eternally struggle to keep his ERA under 4.75.

Well, this is the right call.

Let’s start a pool as to how long it will be before the Brewers start whining about the decision.

No truth to the rumor

that MLB actually fined Ken Macha for wasting their time.

He should at least have to pay Demp's attorneys' fees...

…assuming he had them, of course.

I know it's been said before

But it’s a really crappy thing for Ken Macha to instigate in the first place but to do this to Ryan Dempster is wrong. It’s been publicized he’s going through rough times with his child’s birth and it’s not like the Brewers didn’t know that. It’s like throwing salt in the wound.

Had it been Lilly, Zambrano or Harden i don’t think there would have been as much discussion about it on here.

too bad the Ump isnt fined for making a wrong call

with that much importance

and still no decision

about Bradley.

Actually, I do think they got this decision wrong. The ball didn’t hit Braun at all.

I agree.

And, yeah, what the hell is up with Bradley’s decision? Waitaminute, what’s his batting average? Oh, .186. I still say they’re waiting for it to clear the Mendoza Line to really twist the knife in.

The right decision.....

….that didn’t even have to be made in the first place. Ken Macha is a fool.
