Well obviously by now just about all of you know what has happened to me in the last week of my life. It has been truly amazing and all I can do is point up to the sky and thank the Man for granting me the opportunity after 11 minor league seasons. I also have to thank my family, especially my Wife, Mom, and Dad for the support they have all given me from day one. So many people who I have never met in my life have expressed their well wishes and support. Many people have called my journey “inspirational and amazing.” Thanks but I also would like to remind you that there are thousands of people out there who work hard and persevere every day. I am no different than anyone else out there, the only difference is that my story gets played out for the world to see. I have a ton of stuff to write about but I felt it more important to say a sincere “Thank You” toeveryonedtpollitt.
What an awesome, awesome dude. Man crush from this guy.

Much like Carlos Delgado’s name translates to “Carlos of the Cat”, which is awesome.

That would be Delgato, 'eh?
And “for” would usually be “por” or “para” depending on usage… I don’t know of a “domo” meaning house, but there’s a lot of Spanish I don’t know.
Hey, I took almost 2 weeks of highschool Spanish.
It’s also possible that Perdomo’s name means “Padres they go to the house”, but I’m not sure.

Get Dempster the hell outta there early. 1 more inning. He threw 121 pitches last game, and could use a confidence booster of a 1 ER game. The Padres suck, get some of our bullpen some work, too, Lou, and let’s figure out who should be our long relievers and closer help.

Does our pen really need work?
Seems like they go 3 or 4 innings every day.,
Dempster had 4 days off before this. Let him go 7 or 8 and give the pen a breather.

confidence
If you want to build his confidence, why not let him go 7 or 8, which he hasn’t done yet this year? Then he’ll prove to himself he can do it. The idea is to not use the pen for 3 innings every day. That gets you a tired pen come August.
