baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out

WOW

Was it George Carlin who said
“Would lightning be faster if it didn’t zig-zag?”
This is only the beginning....Lou Pinella end of '07 season and Chicago Transit Authority (the band when they were really good).

Fierce storm last night
My building was struck by lightning around 10:15 last night. The lights flickered. Directv went out (and is still out this morning). The doorman told me that most, if not all, land phone lines are burned.
I hope everyone is safe. Have a good day.
One day I hope to come up with something worthy of this space.

What was being lightened?
Oh, you mean lightning!
Just yanking your chain, Allie. Cool picture.

That's awesome
Pat and Ron were talking about it, and you could hear everyone go “OHHH!!!,” when one bolt came down.

that's amazing!
i was there and you could see the players turn around every once in awhile after a big crash. I remember a few years ago seeing a guy literally “duck” the lightning and make a mad dash for the clubhouse before the umps even told them to clear the field. It was hilarious!
