At long last, the Tribe has made up its mind about our erstwhile reliever with the perfect ERA. This article doesn't go into financial details, but I assume this is good news for the Cubs.

That should save the Cubs about $800,000...
… a prorated portion of the minimum salary this year, plus the $500,000 buyout for next year.
