MLB finally made one smart move
I agree it’s about time. Even for those of us in the central time zone, it’ll be nice to have the game start a little earlier.
"That's what you live for. You live for the opportunity and when that day comes, you better be ready," Soto said. "I tried to make sure that whenever they gave me a chance, I was ready and I knew I had to take advantage of the opportunity."

6:30 PM Central TV Time Slot
I’ve got to think that a pregame show leading into a World Series game would get higher ratings than Entertainment Tonight, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Extra, or whatever other programs that usually occupy that time slot.
