Around SBN: Jerry Sandusky's Wife Tries To Run A Reporter Over

In an agreement today with Disney, Comcast announced an agreement to carry ESPNU a college sports network as well as ESPN360.com an interactive streaming programming website.

This is also on the heels of an agreement reached with The NFL to have Comcast carry the NFL network on its digital cable line-ups and not in the Sports and Entertainment Package.

Also in other Comcast news. Back in September, Comcast and Mark Cuban's HDNet reached an agreement for Comcast to carry both HDNet and HD Movies on its systems, Roll out in Chicago is expected by the end of the year for all mentioned channels and systems.

Good news.

I already have HDNet on my cable system.

ESPN360.com

has always sucked from my experience. It only seemed to air sports I didn’t care about, like Brazilian hockey and whatnot.

Thanks for the info.

This makes things so much easier for me as a college sports blogger!

I've been waiting for HDNet

Mainly for all of the MMA content. So hopefully that hits here soon. If it’ll be in Chicago, I would imagine we’ll have it right around the same time. ESPNU, eh, I don’t know…If I have nothing else going on, and they’re playing soccer or lacrosse, I’d probably watch. Does ESPNU also play college baseball, or is that mainly ESPN2?

ESPNU is far and away

the best college sports network. They show good college basketball, football, and all other college sports throughout the season. College baseball’s NCAA tournament is featured extensively on ESPNU.
