If the pitcher batted 8th and Miles 9th I think they’d intentionally walk the pitcher.

If Lilly throws a perfect game outside of that bad call at 1st they should beat the umpre with a stick.

It's already happened

Well...

I guess they will wait until a high priced star has his career ended by a maple bat incident. And at that point, insurance companies will exclude “maple shrapnel” from an insured event, and at that point, MLB will finally have to do something about it.

Since I play 1st it would be fitting.

May have trouble getting in the swing. Usually am already working out but my ankle has set me back.

One problem we have this year on my team is a problem I doubt the Cubs will ever have. I don’t think the Cubs will ever have to replace a starter because they are pregnant. We lost our left fielder and our best bench player to pregnancy this year.

by cowsarecool220 on May 2, 2009 2:07 PM CDT up reply actions

I don't like the park at all although it is nice and new.

There’s a bar in the outfield that most of the adults spend time in (with their backs to the action), and a video game area where the kids play video games instead of watching the action. Geez….

It’s very bland. And expensive, especially when compared to Baltimore.
