looks like another 90 pitch complete game

The Cubs offensive approach is disgraceful and other teams have picked up on it. Through a pitch – any pitch, anywhere near the plate – and our guys will swing at it. Easy to see why we sit squarely at the bottom of the league in most offensive categories. Terrible offensive approach. This guy has pitched like ZERO innings all year. Stop swinging and stretch him out!

Ramirez is a great hitter and by far the club’s most consistent, but this offense has enough hitters to produce well beyond what it has this year. No one has stepped up, with perhaps the exception of Lee who has been strong since Aram wend down.

and reappear as a Cub

Impossible

The Cubs can’t develop a position player to save their lives. Well Soto is the exception, but what took so darn long?

Bradley

I’d much rather have him than Ibanez or Dunn. Wow, has he looked lost out there so far.

Ibanez and Dunn have been world's better than bradley

so not sure where that confidence is coming from. I think by the end of the season you may be right but Dunn has been very good for the Nats.

I am not giving up....

but this is looking like the beginning of a crap stretch of Cub play. We stink in bunches….

Cardinals fans cheering...

There’s probably not a more annoying sound to me. And I mean that.

by kanderber on May 20, 2009 8:17 PM CDT reply actions

Wow that could have been accomplished and not giving up the run

Walking Duncan would have been a thought with a right handed Stavinoha coming up. 1 run is as big as 5 with the Cubs these days.
