Theriot the Terrible? Theriot has made a name for himself as a hard-working, humble guy who's willing to do whatever it takes to help his team win. This year, things have changed. Do Bobby Scales, Mike Fontenot, Micah Hoffpauir and Len Kasper like the new "power hitting" Theriot?

That was great Sarah
It sure helps my day go by having your contributions to look at.
If the world didn't suck we would all fall off.
This was actually pretty funny
Nice change of pace from the tone this place has when the Cubs aren’t winning.
"Sugar Sweet"...
Haha.

That's classic stuff.
And, yeah, “Sugarsweet” is now officially Theriot’s nickname.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Dang, that's a really enjoyable little ditty.
I’m gonna check out a few more of their tunes.
Oh, and someone needs to put together a Theriot highlight reel with that song. That would rule.

Bloody brilliant.
Marmol was my favorite.

Now thats funny
I love this guy, and I did all last year as well while everybody bashed him.. so he has proved his consistency.. See the following post I had last year, and notice the difference in the way people on this site view Theriot at that time compared to now.
All-Star Ryan Theriot
Marmol was hilarious in this interview by the way, and Sara your great at what you do, keep it up. Hopefully someday Ill be doing what your doing, perhaps you can help me out with an internship or job? haha. Theriot is the man, good choice in interviews.

Thanks Sarah!
After the past 2 nights of bad ball, I needed a good laugh!!! Love your work!

Ok that was awesome
Marmol rattling off spanish made my day.
Hey the Cubs are good again! This will be a good test of a sig jinx.

I heard
“used to be a friend” “acting like another person” and a mention of “Ronny” which could be Cedeno or Santo. I’ll try to catch more after work, but my spanish isn’t as good as it used to be
Oh Mark DeRosa how we need you at third base.
the gist of it
“theriot has changed a lot, now he acts like we’re not buddies, he thinks he’s a new person”
Scales cracks me up.
I’ve only been here a week and he changed his number and told me not to call….Ha!
?
I have no idea what Marmol said either??!!! I told him to do it in Spanish but that I wouldn’t even know if he said “this interviewer is a tool.” Haha. He thought that was pretty funny but I hope he didn’t take me up on it! The only part I got was the “otra persona” stuff—like he’s acting like a different person.
Nice!
That was hilarious! This is something that you’d see on ESPN if it were a Yankees or Red Sox player. Very good stuff!
I thought Hoffpauir was pretty funny,
I bet Demp would have been a good interview too.
Chicago Cubs baseball is on the air...
