I understand him fine

but I know that this team hasn’t scored in a week.
Half the regulars are hovering around .200.
This team is built to win NOW.

This team was built to win this season. No team is slump-proof.

by Mike Martin on May 23, 2009 11:10 PM CDT up reply actions

If the hitting coach doesn't matter

why have one?
maybe a new coach/new approach would shake things up.
This is a quarter of the way through the season, a long time for half the team to slump. And, like I said: you can’t fire all the players.
