The lefty thing makes no difference. After Z was announced, and the Pirates brought in a Righty, they are forced by rule to use him against at least 1 hitter. So if you bring in Kosuke or Fontenot, they face that righty.

But he also is not the soluion. WE need Soriano, Bradley, Lee and Soto to all do far better than they have been. We also need to really revaluate this bullpen and the middle infield.

but i dont really care if the cubs trade everybody this year. If they can’t play competitively, then get rid of all the terrible contracts. I’m saying all of this would apply if the cubs continue to play poorly.
