Around SBN: Knicks Beat Lakers With Familiar Strategy

Bradley was quoted yesterday as saying:

''Reed [Johnson] kind of put his foot in my [butt] today, figuratively, and got me back where I needed to be..."

It's good to see some leadership inside the Cubs locker room. I'm glad Reed adding value to the team, even if he's not playing a whole lot right now.

I like how he...

threw the word “figuratively” in there, as if some people might take it literally if not!

I agree...

…So there is some fire still in the dugout.

GOOD!

Bradley will hit

I still believe in MB. I really think he’ll end up hitting around .275 this year. That means he’ll hit about .300 the rest of the year. I’m glad to hear Johnson got on him and also glad to hear MB accepted the criticism.

As a side note, I think that, assuming Lee recovers from the flu bug, he will have a higher average than Micah by June 15th.

I’m more worried about Soto. The other players that are struggling (Lee, MB, Soriano, even Miles to some extent) have a track record so you can expect most of them will return to form. Soto only has one year+ in the majors. It could well be that he suffers from the sophmore jinx for the entire year. I hope I’m wrong.

I am worried about Soto

and if by chance he was a one year wonder. I hope not, I dont think so, but time will tell.

Soto hit the ball well last night.

He may still be fighting the shoulder problem he had in April.
