Keep it up, Cubs
"I knew we were in for a long season when we lined up for the national anthem on opening day and one of my players said, 'Every time I hear that song I have a bad game.'" - Jim Leyland
You know what makes me frustrated?
That Lou plays match-ups like they are the end-all to baseball. Dome has been the best hitter on this team this year, and he simply NEVER plays with a LHP in the lineup. I know we have guys with decent splits against lefties, but com’on Lou, use common sense. The guy can hit.
"The riches of the game are in the thrills, not the money." --Ernie Banks
He plays players with a continued chance for them to be successful...
Plus, how nice is it to have Dome in the bag to pull out when the opposing team switches pitchers?
