Did anyone read

the Trib article online (maybe in the paper as well) about Ted Lilly and umpire Bob Davidson? Since when have umpires been so aggressive and confrontational? When did it become acceptable for umps to use expletives in front of the media? Just a thought. This is simply something that would not have happened 10 (probably even 5) years ago

That Lou plays match-ups like they are the end-all to baseball. Dome has been the best hitter on this team this year, and he simply NEVER plays with a LHP in the lineup. I know we have guys with decent splits against lefties, but com’on Lou, use common sense. The guy can hit.
