Lou & Big Z on the 6-game suspension. As you can see, Big Z didn't waste all of his rage on the water cooler yesterday. He saved some for this reporter...

Z walked up to Barrett, Z pointing at his own head

then he clocked Barret. That’s how I remember it.

They replayed the Z-Barrett fight on CSN last night...

…and, yeah, Z threw the first punch slap. Barrett did sort of “step to” Z – as if to get up in his face. I guess Carlos interpreted that as “being attacked.” Or maybe that’s just how he remembers it. Michael Barrett definitely had a temper as well, but I seriously doubt he meant to pick a fist fight with Carlos Zambrano.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

I'm 90% sure that was Jesse Rogers I heard ask the question

Maybe it wasn’t. Either way, why would you bring that up? What does that have to do with the other day? He asked if he had ever gotten that mad at an umpire before, and they bring up the Barrett thing? I’d get pissed too.

Just say no to players named Aaron on the Cubs.

exactly

you know Z is not in a great mood, so why bring up something like that?

ANother press conference

Another press conference where the bunch of single digit IQed morons who make up the majority of the Chicago media is exposed.

Jay is our Quarterback. I REPEAT JAY IS OUR QUARTERBACK. Did I mention we have a Quarterback who happens to be named Jay?.
