If only Tim could get closer to the sale of the jerseys you ordered.

Maybe Ricketts doesn't really want to buy the Cubs.
Maybe he just ordered the Cubs but has no intention of actually paying for them.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

people who use his board to make financial transactions actually complete those transactions by paying for what they’ve ordered.

Al, I am sorry
that Clutche stopped replying to emails after I placed his order. I only asked him on here about it because I had no other way to contact him. Out of respect to Al, I wish everyone to stop beating a dead horse. Clutche screwed me on a deal he made. He ordered two jerseys, and one I have been able to find a home for (not a big market for a BRAND NEW WITH TAGS HOFF XL HOME JERSEY).
It is best, to respect Al and his blog that everyone stop badgering a jackass (Clutche) for his lies. I appreciate how people have some to my defense in this, but there is no use in it. He has given how many different stories on here about it since the order took place. He is a dead beat, not worth the energy over one Hoff jersey. I am sure I can find a blind fan to give it to.

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out
I'd amend that suggestion
To say that we ignore Clutche all together. I wasted a few posts trying to explain to him why he was alienating people a few weeks ago . . . I thought I’d made a point — and even understood him a bit better.
But this is indefensible.

Strange.

Seriously
There have been a number of different reports on the amount of financing, source of financing, likelihood of deal, timing of deal. I know it’s behind the scenes, but it’s crazy how varying the stories are.

Clutche special
ordered 2 jerseys from Tim. One is a Hoffpauir and I think the other one was maybe Theriot. Tim got them and emailed Clutche that he had them and Clutche won’t respond to the emails. Tim has asked him several times through emails and in the threads to please answer his email but he won’t. Now Tim is stuck with the jerseys.
Hoff
and the other is a medium Rami. If it was an XL Rami, I’d buy it from him, and at least Tim would only be out ONE jersey…

Can’t Tim sell them to someone else?

who the hell wants to buy
an XL Hoffpauir jersey?
Besides, it’s not entirely the point; we’re a community here, and Clutche has broken that a little bit.

If the transaction was initiated here
And Clutche isn’t answering e-mails, then discussing it on threads is probably the only way that Tim had to try to get him to respond.

It was initiated here a few
weeks ago. Clutche wouldn’t answer Tim’s emails so when Clutche showed up in a game thread Tim asked him what was going on and why Clutche wouldn’t answer his emails.
And that's why I think it's fair game for Clutche to be called out here

I wasn't refering to him....
he doesn’t appear to subscribe to the trolls nonsense

This is a very odd turn of events, Clutche.
And you can clear all of this up by simply responding to Tim’s e-mail with an polite explanation of why you’ve chosen not to complete the transaction you agreed to. You’re calling us trolls, but it’s a form of trolling to agree to a friendly, informal business transaction like this and then back out of paying for it for, apparently, no good reason.
If you’d prefer not to address this in a public forum like this, fine. But you have a responsibility to respond to Tim.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.
You seem like a decent person that..........
occasionally gets off center and joins the trolls when they stalk their prey.
For the record, I did respond to Tim on Saturday 5/9 long before he started his attacks on me in this public forum. You’re going to have to take my word for it because I won’t post it here like he maliciously did to me.
It was between us, but unfortunately Tim chose to take it public and his comrades piled on and continue to waste time and space here beating a dead horse.
My responsibility was to respond, and I did. But to do business with people like him, no way.
If you had to choose just one characteristic that would get you through life, choose a sense of humor.
Fair enough.
Without a full disclosure of all the e-mails involved, which I agree really isn’t appropriate here, none of us know for sure where the truth lies.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.
except I've seen the emails
and they were no response at all.
I won’t post them, because it’s not my money, but trust me, Daver. The truth lies with Tim, and not with Clutche.

the problem
was the two weeks of no replies prior from you Clutch, until I called you out in a game thread. Then the only resoinse I get from you is
Ignored your e-mails for a reason. I think you’re smart enough to figure out why.
no explanation why when I ask. And then you make up more than one story on BCB about the situation from “who are you Tim” and so on. Each time a lie followed by another from you, and not once an expanation. You continue to leave out facts now as well.
baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out
As you can clearly see..............
You e-mailed me on 5/5 and I responded on 5/12 which is one week NOT two weeks as you FALSELY claim. So clearly I did not ignore you for two weeks.
And, if you’re not smart enough to figure out why I didn’t deal with you then you have no clue……..dude. So, your lie is exposed at last Timmie-boy.

there were additional emails
you also skipped over. either way since you placed the order in April, and you denied that you palced an order here on BCB (remember making that post?)
You placed an order and when you decided you didnt want them anymore you didnt tell me in advance, so I could possible cancel your order instead of being charged for it while you back out.
you have continued to avoid the following
1. not explained why
2. said on BCB that you:
- didnt know what i was talking about
- didnt know who i was
- never ordered anything
- that you were told they were seconds (by who?)
- you did reply with explanation
