Thanks Jimmy
Been sitting here for a few minutes waiting for someone else to go first. Last time I did that, the other guys scored 6

Bottom of the 4th coming up
This team needs to start doing something soon. 6 runs is a lot to get back. Marshall isn’t going to hold them to that, and he’ll be out by the 6th tops.
Just checked in...
and now checking out. 6-0? Doesn’t feel like a win. A split with the best team in the NL isn’t too shabby.

Just because he doesn't crack 40 a year out the yard
Doesn’t mean he can’t be productive. Singles, and doubles will work just as well. But yes, he’s not getting paid to hit singles and doubles but HR’s. Not much can be done with that. I’d rather him hit the ball hard and drive in runs then keep trying to swing for the fences when it doesn’t look like he can do that with any regularity anymore
good point.........
but not getting many singles or doubles either
If you had to choose just one characteristic that would get you through life, choose a sense of humor.
My point.....
both balls were hit hard, maybe he’s starting to turn whatever corner is in his way

far as I know
Marshall is playing on his schedule. Wells came up to take up Harden’s slack, and they’ll rearrange the schedule so that Z doesn’t miss a start.

Z's suspension

Wells has picked up a lot of the slack from Harden’s DL stint. Again, the offense has done him no favors.

I am gonna take a wild guess
That it was because he only gave up one run in the three innings after the first. Do you have any idea how bad you have to be in the first inning to be pulled. Lots more than 5 runs. When exactly would you have pulled him and started to mess with our great bullpen ?

You want craptastic ?
Last year pitching in his least favorite place ( Phoenix) in a game he had been moved up to because Peavy had a problem Greg Maddux gave up six runs in the first one more in the 2nd and had given up nine by the 7th. One of his worst starts ever but he was not only kept in he went 7 which was long for him last year. He did it because the Padres bullpen was spent and they knew they could not win. This is what happens. You have to stay in so as not to blow out a bullpen too early even when you haven’t got your stuff.
