I'm really pulling for him to win the Cy Young
watched his last start on mlb.tv and was very impressed. Funny thing is that was the only time this season he has given up earned runs

I'm in the KC area.
This place is ecstatic over him. After all the crap Zach’s been though, he deserves to be in the spotlight (ironically, considering his social anxiety issues). I like the Royals. They havea great core.

They do
plus a wide open division. You also have the best baseball writer in the country out there.

The ballpark looks unrecognizable. It is simply gorgeous. I think it's my new favorite park.
And the Royals have invested great deals of monies, time, and ad-play to make the place family friendly AND affordable.

I am planning on heading to KC when the Twins play there
in August or Sept. Hows the updated stadium look?
The concourse around the outfield is real fun.
It’s surreal to be able to stand on the fence, a few feet from the water fountains. If you can somehow make a jumbotron look “natural”, they have done it; meaning there are minimal advertisements on it, it doesn’t do annoying flashy shit, and the replays look like HDTV.
The food lines are f-ing long, but I’m gonna chalk that up to first week jitters and the game being sold out. You’re really gonna like it. Lemme know if you do come down for that Twinkie series, my entire family is in MN and came down last year for a series. They are already talking about coming down for the one in late summer, too.
Evey Hammond: Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici. V: By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.
I came down with my GF last year
for the April series against the Twins. Froze my ass off for those two games. 30 degrees isnt that bad, but when the wind is howling in your face…….ugh. Lots of beer took care of that problem though….
Yup, I was there with you.
We literally had blankets and hat and gloves. I was very drunk and STILL cold, which means it was even colder than drunk-Dan thunk it was.
Evey Hammond: Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici. V: By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.
Billy Butler
jersey giveaway night? I had problems getting tickets because of that. I spoke to Joe Nathan for a short time that night at the bar…….his woman……ugh he could do better.
I got the jersey.
We went last weekend for this year’s jersey give away. I was there THREE HOURS early and the line was 2-3x longer than last year. I said f-that and we drank more beer instead. The things Americans do for free crap. And the Butler jersey is better quality than this year’s to boot.
Evey Hammond: Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici. V: By the power of truth, I, while living, have conquered the universe.
yeah, being from MN
I could careless about the jersey, it was nice for a freebie but it had that big ass logo on the back.
