WCIU in Central Illinois?
With the abundance of WCIU games as of late, I was wondering if anyone knows a good spot in the Peoria-area to watch the Cubs games? All the Buffalo Wild Wings don't carry the games, and/or they're blacked out on Extra Innings. If anybody has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them. I know the Ruby Tuesday in Bloomington/Normal on Veterans Pkwy used to carry the WCIU games when I was at ISU, but I don't even know if that's still open and I'm not going to drive 45 minutes to watch the game!

In skimming this post...
I notice far too many acronyms. Then I notice they’re all about Tony Graffanino Central Illinois… then I ignore them. I don’t think he’d the Ruby Tuesday’s would be an asset to the team enjoyable place to watch a game at all, just another liability overpriced chain restaurant.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Just kiddin’ around – hope you find a place to watch the game.

"Abundance"?
Two games in the last week have been on WCIU. There are a grand total of four more the rest of the season. I don’t think I’d call that an “abundance”.

I'm just not used to them so early in the season
I seem to remember most of them in August/September

I am certainly not suggesting anyone do anything against any sort of regulations,
But there are streams out there of games. Typically you can download a streaming media player called “TVAnts”. And a forum of potential streams can be found here:

You can go to BWW's and have them
put on the Game Mix channel on Extra Innings and, even though it’s blacked out, you can see it along with 7 other games that are going on at the same time. It’s watchable, I did it last Thursday.

Any anger toward WCIU is misplaced. The station is just a sub-contractor.
Blame the CW, and WGN. Those “Cubs Net” games are property of WGN, Channel 9. Tribco Broadcasting farms out those games as to not disturb network programming on WGN-Chicago. (Not WGN America)
Same situation for White Sox games on WCIU. There are not that many games that fall into this category, but there are enough that WGN doesn’t want the CW shows dumped for baseball.
Those of us on EI will be treated to Comcast Bay Area tonight, since WCIU games do not appear on the package.

And it's only six games all year.
Some of us remember when up to 20 games a year weren’t televised at all.

After all, "The Gossip Girls"
would be pre-empted tonight. If that show didn’t air — the young demographic it brings, to lose the Chicago market would not be good for the CW
