You DO care.... why else would you be here?
This article caught my eye and I thought it was pretty good and pertained to some that were/are here. Thought I'd share it...

Yeah, that was pretty good...
… considering Kass is a Sox fan and has, in the past, never missed an opportunity to diss the Cubs and Cubs fans.

I don't care
to ever read another article by that guy.

then it's your loss
He’s one of the few writers in town with the stones to question the Outfit and their corrupt stranglehold on Chicago/Illinois government. But that’s politics.
I like Kass work, even if his baseball-centric articles tend to do little for me.

True - he does question da Machine
He’s no Royko, but at least he stands up to the brass.

I don't know...
I’m no lover of Chicago politics, but I find Kass tiresome. His columns are the same things over and over again and he tends to jump on whatever completely random thing he can find. His attempted character assassination of Obama during the campaign was bothersome enough, when he wasn’t making fun of the Cubs. Blegh. If he ever writes a column that actually breaks a significant story about corruption in city government, let me know. Otherwise, I could do without.

In fairness
His columns are the same things over and over again because the same things keep happening over and over again and the people either don’t or can’t change it. Complaining that Kass doesn’t “break” stories is like complaining Morissey didn’t “break” Zambrano’s MRI results. Two completely different jobs.
Anyhow, you don’t like his work then you don’t like his work. Plain and simple.

I'll give you that
And I am probably biased because he’s a Sox fan. But it just gets repetitive to me, that’s all. This week’s column was a breath of fresh air.

Not a bad article.
I did see Kass outside the Trib Towers recently.
I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Kass should just stick to his political articles.
I like those plenty don’t get me wrong. I bet he’d throw a fit though of a Morrissey or a Sullivan decided to write an article on city hall. He just loves the fact that he writes at CubsNation HQ and is a Sox fan and like Al said, disses the Cubs everytime. Every time. Not just every now and then. Every time. I could take it if he was actually a sports columnist, but he’s not. He does his job well though: I react the same way everytime I see one of his Cubs article— by wanting to break his laptop over his knees.

Did you read this article?
This isn’t a diss.
This is a “buck up and go get ’em” article. Which I personally really needed today.
You know when you break up with a boyfriend or something you can take that time off before getting into another relationship. Baseball isn’t like that. No matter how broken your heart still is, the season starts again in April. Whether you’re ready for it or not. And thats what this article is about.

Yeah, regardless of his allegiance..
I thought this article was worth a post.
Reminded me of some of the feelings around here at the end of last year.

Who among us....
has never had a “the hell with it!!” moment, even if we knew ourselves we didn’t mean it? I always liken my relationship with the Cubs to a marriage (and everyone knows happily married couples like this) in which there will always be ups and downs, and in fact, unhappy times and disappointments and bitter arguments will usually outnumber the happy times. But through it all, the bond will never be broken, and the happy times will always keep you in the relationship no matter how bad the bad times get. That’s the best I can explain it. But for better or worse, I’m in for life.
