Hey slcathena,
Hopefully, you will see what I’ve been posting after the Cubs win. It’s not an exact duplication of Northsider’s flag, but it’s as close as I could come to it.

Question: Will Theriot attempt to steal?

he has to get on base first. :P
but I expect if the opportunity presents itself…

I'm leaving soon...but Theriot lined a sharp single to center and Bush has been concerned
about him on first base ever since. Count is 2-2 to Dome.

he will steal 2nd
and third, then home

well, I suppose he could still be here, in read-only mode though.
Imagine how frustrating that would be for him – I think he’d burst a spleen by the 4th inning.
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."
sounds like I missed a crazy evening last night
and something tells me thats a good thing.
saying you missed a crazy inning
is like saying Cotts throws a few pitches out of the strike zone

i hate that phrase...
keep on hearing martha stewart. (shudder)
well, think of it as watching the fireworks at a small town county fair
a few burst here and there, some oohs and ahhs, but all in all nothing too spectacular until the end. Now think of it as July 4th in Washington DC for the Bicentennial celebration. One helluva grand finale…
Lou Brown: "My kinda team, Charlie, my kinda team..."

that is what gets me

Not necessarily
I would say that the boxed versions you find in the freezer case at the store are definitely not as good, but the ones you special order online are pretty close to the original. It’s never going to match a fresh delivered one, of course, but if you’re ever really homesick….

baseball is a game of outs......pop out, ground out, line out, pitch out, strike out, fly out, and Fox and Bud's favorite black out
I doubt...
I’ll have a beer left from the six-pack I just bought.

how much he thought the cubs were gonna win it all last year and how he thought when they got the dodgers it was the best matchup for the cubs, and that you cant wait for next year cause you never know what happens with injuries

Amateur opinion
I don’t think he dislocated it. I have dislocated my shoulder twice and each time, I couldn’t move my arm and I had to bend over and just let it hang when I walked. From what I could tell, it didn’t look that severe.
That being said, it certainly didn’t look good.
I just saw him in Lansing. He's not ready

Ronnie was a 3B when he played… does anyone who have the radio feed know if he’s said anything about what type of injury it might be?
ron and pat speculate he "hyperextended" his shoulder
not sure if thats an actual medical term

I think it is
(I hyper extended my knee once) but it can mean different things…
Believe or Leave ~Cubswynn 9/9/2008
Yeah, that's very true.
Makes me wonder if the result is a sprain, delocation, ligament damage, etc…hyper-extended doesn’t mean much without an actual diagnosis.
Believe or Leave ~Cubswynn 9/9/2008
It usually means
that there is no serious structural damage though, otherwise they’ll call it that.
We’ll have to wait to find out

Not quite accurate...
A hyperextension means that it is extended beyond the normal range of motion, which could result in tendon or ligament injuries or muscle tears.
Plus, Pat and Ron aren’t doctors, they are just using a word they are familiar with.

i woudn't agree he has "nothing"
I’d say he is trying to be very fine with his pitches, isn’t getting corners and then throwing it right over the middle. And the injury did look VERY SEVERE. He could barely walk down the dugout steps he was in so much pain.
0-0 after three.
