Nice article on Wrigley Field, and good quotes from our friend Al.

Does the author have a BCB connection?

Can’t help but notice that not only is Al quoted, but ballhawk, too. I’m sensing a vast media conspiracy here.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.

Thanks for posting the link.

I spoke to the writer a few weeks ago. He said he was going to tell me when it was posted — I never did hear that from him, though he did send me a copy of the Wrigley Field Wise Guide, a clever little book you can carry around in your pocket.

Awesome read

thanks for posting. He did a nice job capturing why Wrigley is the best.

This is only the beginning....Lou Pinella end of '07 season and Chicago Transit Authority (the band when they were really good).

Beautiful.

Very well-written, and it chronicled very well the Wrigley experience, which we all love, but also the passion and loyalty of the fans. When was the last time you saw an article written like that about Sox fans or their ballpark? Try never.

Good article

Thanks for the link

Does Soriano's defense at 2B really cost more runs than in LF? He makes a lot fewer errors in LF since misplays and mental mistakes aren't figured into the stats, but I have to imagine that his mistakes are more physical at 2B. Any thoughts? Is there a statistic on this?
