i think they're just following the team's style.
i wouldn’t mind if it wasn’t so played out. meanwhile, we’re just playing like shit.

Again, this is an ignorant thing to say.
I live in Wisconsin. I go to multiple Cubs/Brewers games every year. Every fan base has obnoxious fans. The Cubs do. The White Sox do. The Cardinals do. The Brewers do. Don’t be a hypocrite, every fanbase has idiots who make the rest look like jerks. Generalizing an entire fan base just makes you look like a fool.

Right.
But it’s undeniable that every fan base (which consists of millions of people) is going to have some obnoxious fans. My point was that extrapolating that minority to describe an entire fan base does not make any sense. Comprende?

I'm not so sure
The fanbase and media seems to thrive on it. I’m watching the Brewer feed, and they’re fascinated with showing unhappy Cub fans. Seems pretty bush league to me. I am FROM Wisconsin, and I’ve always thought Milwaukee has had an inferiority complex when it comes to Chicago. That stuff reinforces it.

Oh I completely agree with the inferiority complex.
I’m just talking about the fan base in general. Making broad, sweeping statements about an entire fan base is just foolish. That’s all I’m trying to say.

i can handle
sux fans or cards fans talking shit to me.
they’ve done something neither us nor the brewers have: won a ring.
that buys you a lot of shit talking.
Cards lost
to Reds. Eases the pain a little bit.
