The Top 5 Cubs Games of May

The month of May was so inconsistent that the Cubs were once a half game out of 1st place.  Then they went on an 8 game losing streak to bring them to a 4th place slot at the end of the month trailing Milwaukee by 4.5 games.  On a positive note, the Cubs went 15-12 in May as opposed to 10-11 in April (25-24 overall).  Hey, I'd like it to be much better right now but there's still plenty of time left and, it could easily be a lot worse.

There isn't any game that stands out to me as a shoe-in for the best game for May so i'll just include all 15 wins in the poll and let the Cubs nation vote amongst themselves.

Poll

You have 15-12 for May

And 10-11 for April. That adds up to 25-23, somethings wrong. But anyway, my best game is when they broke out of the losing streak. Man, that felt good.

The Cubs were 15-13 in May.

Not sure what game he’s missing.

You did.

Somehow, I think last night’s game won’t make it onto a list of “top games of June”.

I voted for the Riot Grand Slam.

The high point of Ryan’s short-lived power surge, and a great moment. Easily one of the top three moments for me of the season so far, along with the Reed robbery of Prince’s Slam, and D. Lee’s Slam on #31 retirement day.

I voted 5/14 because I was there...

…but I think Demp’s 7-0 gem vs. the Dodgers was probably the best game. In fact, that was probably the best game of the season thus far. Maybe I should’ve commented first and voted second.

I've committed to tweeting about the Cubs for the rest of the season. (Does that sound as ridiculous as I think it does?) Anyway, if you're on Twitter, you can follow me here.
