Very frustrating stretch because the starters have been holding up their end of the bargain

It would be nice if Lou

would play one of these close games with some sense of urgency and go for the big inning instead of letting Dome destroy another rally like he did last night.

alright

NOW IS THE TIME IN THE BASEBALL GAME WHERE WE SCORE SOME RUNS!

I'm a Cubs FANATIC. They are my team, through thick and thin. When they play over their heads, and when they play under the gutter. When they win the division, and then get swept in the division series. When they get no-hitters and when they blow no-hitters. And some day, when they go all the way and get those rings. This is the kind of fan I am.

by drewishdrewid on Jun 11, 2009 3:06 PM CDT reply actions

I agree with the posters

Lou needs to bat Reed there. I know its only the siixth, but Reed hits lefties, Dome doesnt and you cant afford to let that inning get away.

The bottom line though is Ryan Theriot absolutely has to make contact there. It is inexcusable for him to strike out against Russ Ortiz in that spot.

by Ryanocm1 on Jun 11, 2009 3:07 PM CDT reply actions

Amen on Theriot
