"We're going to try to do different things," Piniella said. "We've stayed pretty constant for 60 games or so. I think it's time to change things around a little bit." - Lou Pinella
Maybe Lou is FINALLY going to do something about this offense. As we have all seen, he has inexcusably been sitting on the bench the first 3rd of the season possibly half asleep(if not all the way asleep). The last few days I have heard some frustration publicly for the first time out of Lou all season. I think this is going to be the make or break point of the season and it seems Lou feels the same.
I know many of you are saying "there is still 102 games left" and "we are only 3.5 out". But regardless of what the numbers say, I feel it is the turning point because I feel MENTALLY this team is about done. If they can turn things around in that department, then I will agree we have chance to take the division and play good baseball.
If you want examples of mental mistakes, just look at yesterday's game, and all the failed execution ALL season long.
That's my viewpoint...discuss away.
